This is my blog. I started this as I’ve always liked making things, and I figured that making a blog would motivate me to make more things to post on the blog… Makes perfect sense no?

I’ve been sewing since I was little as Grandma and a few of my aunts were seamstresses.  I remember many happy Chinese New Year holidays where I would rummage through bags of scrap fabric to find something that would fit my favourite Barbie doll of the moment. Before I learnt to sew, fabric wrapped around Barbie tied with a ribbon around her tiny waist made a perfectly good tube dress. It was probably around then that I learnt the power of accessories. I’m still wrestling with the whole quality vs quantity thing, but it’s getting better.

Voluntary art came later as I got way too many Cs in school. But somehow when no one else is telling you what you must do, everything becomes way more fun!
